I was pleased to see that every student had done it! Ingame-homework-experiment succeeded!
I asked them to build a simple AND gate where one input is always 1 and the second input is only 1 when the player steps on a pressure plate. The output of the gate should only be 1 if both inputs are active. This simple task was just to see if all students understand what they should do, where they should build and how to use the tools.
Today they got another ingame homework and again it's in Minecraft using redstone and logic gates. This time its a little more complex.

Since the server is always on many students spend quite some of their spare time on the Server building impressing houses
This works very well and I hope that this approach is better than the usual teaching method and they learn quicker and remember it longer.
